Multi-cache

The Island Preserve is a moderately challenging multi-cache located in a beautiful conservation area in the Village of Geneseo. Elevation gain and distance are not great but this cache does require bushwhacking. Not all cache points are along maintained trails.

The cache is located at the following final way point. To complete the way point you must solve for, A, B, and C. All are single digits.

N 42, 48.CA1
W077, 48.A5B

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. To solve for "A": Travel to coordinate:
N 42, 48.447
W077, 48.430
You are looking for a sign. There is no parking lot at the sign, so please park on a nearby residential street. To solve for "A" read sign. How many acres of land are protected at Island Preserve? Subtract 38. You have solved "A". Enter into final way point.

2. To solve for "B": From sign, hike to coordinate:
N 42, 48.360
W077, 48.251
Follow the tree line and you will stay on the preserve property. What # appears on the object at the coordinate? You have solved "B". Enter into final way point.

3. To solve for "C": Hike to coordinate:
N 42, 48.237
W077, 48.186
What number do you find hidden in the trunk of the tallest tree? You have solved "C". Enter into final way point.

4. Find the cache! You now have all the information you need to hike to the Island Preserve multi-cache. Enjoy.
