Bluebell Hike Details

iApril 25, 2017

On May 6th, Genesee Valley Conservancy will host two hikes to see the beautiful bluebell flowers in Geneseo.

This privately owned protected property has a patch of flowers that will excite first-timers and returning visitors alike.

Two hikes will leave from Nations Road.  The first departs at 10:00am and the second at 2:00pm.  These are VERY popular hikes to plan to arrive early.  The walk is free, however we do ask folks to sign in and there is a raffle drawing for a beautiful metal print (1 for $5 or 3 for $10).

This 3.5 mile hike takes place on trails that will be muddy and includes hiking through fields and over uneven surfaces.  The hike features working agricultural fields and a forest along the Genesee River that is host to a spectacular sea of Common Bluebell flowers.  The hike will take between 1.5 and 2 hours.

The hike will depart rain or shine.  There is no transportation available.  Participants must be able to complete the round trip.

The hike takes place on private property.  Please help us continue this event by only visiting during these scheduled times.
