Genesee Valley Hunt Races held on permanently protected land
The Genesee Valley will be buzzing with families and equestrian enthusiasts this Saturday for the Genesee Valley Hunt Races. The country festival, which takes place on property that has been permanently conserved by the Genesee Valley Conservancy, centers around the 86th running of the Genesee Valley Hunt Cup sanctioned steeplechase race. The event features canine sport demonstrations, pony rides, a tailgate picnic competition, and a parade of Genesee Valley foxhounds.
The long-standing tradition showcases not only the sport of fox-hunting, but also the wildlife habitat and open space in the beautiful Genesee Valley. The Genesee Valley Conservancy is proud to conserve this area and ensure it will remain undeveloped forever.
