Volunteer
Individuals and groups are needed to help with a wide variety of tasks to make the Oak Tree Race a success. Volunteers are needed for pre-race work (office work, PR, registration), day of work (registration, packet pickup, water tables, traffic control, setup/take down, musical performance), and post day work (office work, tying up loose ends).
Please e-mail or call the office if you are interested in lending a hand in any of the areas described above.

Spectators
For those that are not running the Oak Tree Race, we encourage you to watch anywhere along the race course to cheer on the runners.*
Best viewing of both races is along the North end of Main Street. The half marathon runners will be on Main St. from 9:00 till 9:20, running to the fountain and then back North on Main St. out Route 39. The 5K runners will be on Main Street starting at 9:15 before turning up Center Street.
*During the race the dirt roads (Nations, Roots Tavern, and Houston) will be closed to minimize dust.
