Plant a Tree Fundraiser
Running the Oak Tree is a great way to support the conservation efforts of the Genesee Valley Conservancy, including our work protecting 2,850 acres along the course!

Now you can ask family and friends to join you by making a contribution to GVC in support of your training.  For every $250 raised, GVC will plant a tree on protected property along the course.  Our goal is to raise $5,000.

Get started here: www.active.com/donate/geneseevalley

Donate directly at the site above or use it to create a personal fundraising page with your own goal, then ask family and friends to support your training for the Oak Tree Race by making a contribution!

Rather ask for donations in person? Have checks made to Genesee Valley Conservancy and deliever them as a group to PO Box 73 or in person at One Main Street, Geneseo.

How to fundraise $250 in five simple steps
1) Ask your parents to kickstart the effort for $50 $ 50
2) Ask two coworkers or classemates for $20... $ 90
3) Ask work to sponsor your run for $50.. $140
4) Ask a close friend $50 .... $190
5) Ask three other friends for $20.... $250
Done! Now ask everyone to come cheer you on during the race on September 1st!
