Conservation Update: 8 acres protected in Nation’s Road Grasslands
A total of 8 acres of land have been added to the conservation area on a property located in the Nation's Road Grassland area, identified as an Important Bird Area by the National Audubon Society.
This additional conservation land is part of a larger project completed by Ted and Sue Kinsey in 1993, just the fourth project completed by Genesee Valley Conservancy. This year, Sue revisited the conservation project and decided a reserved house site originally set aside for future options was no longer desirable. Working with the Conservancy, Sue added these acres to the conservation area in order to protect a few additional acres of important open space and natural resources in the Genesee Valley!
