Help Save Little Italy

This year, we’ve taken on ownership of a historic 70-acre property that lays just across from York Central School.  This forested property includes a section of Bidwell Creek, but most significantly it has foundations and remnants of an Italian mining town that existed from 1890-1923.

We have successfully funded the acquisition and transfer of land to the Conservancy, but we need to raise Stewardship Funds to help support ongoing maintenance and improvement projects on this new nature preserve so we can keep this place open to the community FOREVER.

The Stewardship Fund will support maintenance and improvements like trails, a bridge, educational signs, and habitat and water quality improvement projects to make this place even better.

EVERY GIFT made to the Stewardship Fund in support of this project will be DOUBLED this year thanks to a $1 for $1 match offered by the Frank DiMino Foundation!
