A native of Mamaroneck, NY, John was a leader in an environmental club in high school, organizing campaigns to clean the shores of Harbor Island and the Mamaroneck River.

John was a history major at SUNY Geneseo who brings two decades of corporate experience and eight years of non-profit staff experience to his role as Development Director.

John earned his Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation in 2021. The credential indicates a commitment to continuing education, volunteering in the community, ethical fundraising, and applying best practices in the fundraising field. John led several conservation work days with the Boy Scouts at the Indian Fort in his role as a Scout leader.

John and his wife Dee Dee met at SUNY Geneseo. They have raised five children in the Village of Geneseo and enjoy hiking, cooking, reading, traveling, and volunteering.
